As of today I'm no longer on deviantART staff. It's a real shame, but I really just haven't had the time to split between my studies, my job and my duties here. To be honest, I really should have stepped down before now - what with my final year of university coming up i'm going to have even less time.

This is kind of a big deal to me; I've been on deviantART staff since the end of 2003 and I've done a few things: gallery director, contest director, message network admin, and they've all been great fun. Some of the great people I've had the pleasure to work with:

On that note, the MN@, and indeed, the staff in general, do a fantastic job and have never deserved even a fraction of the hassle I've seen them receive over the years. There's a reason dA has survived so long.

I'm not leaving dA - it's such a part of my life I couldn't, really - but in line with my lack of recent activity I'll probably be around less. Either that, or I'll suddenly develop a rekindled addiction to the site. It could go either way.

cardiff devMeet

Last weekend I went to ^maxwell-heza's cardiff devmeet and had a fantastic time. Met some new people, met some old people, got very drunk and I'd do it all again in a flash. Looking forward to the next one.

P.S.
Also, I'd like to go on record and say that I absolutely love my housemate, Kalfireth. Furthermore, I'll hopefully know better than to log myself into DA on his machine and not take the time to log myself out afterwards. Whoops!
